Tamils ware always kept under check by the ‘postal economy’ barrier enforced by the Sinhala governments since independence, by intentional under delevelopment of the Tamil areas. No one would seriously challenge this. Tamils are in the south for reasons of personal safety and job/commercial opportunities that are nonexistent in their part of the world – not because they love to live with the ‘chosen people’
